Privacy Policy

What this means in plain English:
- We collect only your first, middle, and last name, your address, and your email address - nothing else.
- This information is stored only on your device. We do not operate a server that receives, stores, or processes your personal data.
- We help you find and prepare eligible claims, but we never submit anything on your behalf - you review it and file it yourself.
- We do not sell your personal information. Because we never receive it on any server, there is nothing for us - or anyone else - to sell.
- You may confirm what data the app holds (it's the data on your own device) or contact us with privacy questions.
1. Who We Are
Claim Settlements: Class Action is provided by Gispro Deelnemingen B.V. ("Gispro," "we," "our," or "us"), a private limited company (besloten vennootschap) registered in the Netherlands.

Because we are established in the European Union, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as a data controller, in addition to applicable U.S. state privacy laws, regardless of where our users are located.
2. Information We Collect
Claim Settlements: Class Action does not require you to create an account and does not use a login. Within the app, you may enter:
- First, middle, and last name
- Address
- Email address
We do not collect Social Security numbers, dates of birth, government ID numbers, or any other identifying information beyond what is listed above.
All of this information is stored locally on your device only. Claim Settlements: Class Action does not transmit your name, address, or email address to Gispro's servers or to any third party. We do not operate a backend database of user personal information.
To help you find eligible settlements, the app downloads publicly available settlement information (case names, deadlines, eligibility criteria) to your device and matches it against the information you entered - entirely on your device. Your personal information is never sent as part of this process.
We may separately collect limited technical information (such as app crash reports or aggregate, non-identifying usage analytics) to maintain and improve the app. This technical information is not linked to the name, address, or email you enter in the app.
3. How We Use Your Information
Because your name, address, and email stay on your device, we use that information only to:
- Match you to potentially eligible settlements, on-device
- Help you prepare the paperwork or information needed to file a claim yourself
- Track deadlines for claims you tell the app you've filed
We do not use your information for advertising, do not build advertising profiles, and do not share it with data brokers or marketing partners - because we never have access to it.
4. What We Never Do
- We never sell your personal information
- We never share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising or any other commercial purpose
- We never request your Social Security number or other sensitive identifiers
- We never track you across other apps or websites
- We never submit a claim on your behalf without your review and action
5. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell or share personal information. Because your name, address, and email are stored only on your device and never reach our servers, there is no data on our systems to sell or share. Out of caution, and to meet U.S. state privacy law requirements (including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA), we still provide a formal channel to submit a "Do Not Sell or Share" request. 6. Your Rights
Under U.S. state privacy laws
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:
- Know what categories of personal information we hold (limited to what's on your device)
- Request deletion (delete the app or clear its data at any time)
- Correct inaccurate information (edit it directly in the app)
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (see Section 5)
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
Under GDPR (as an EU-established company)
If applicable to you, you have the right to:
- Access, rectify, or erase your personal data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability
- Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or your local supervisory authority
Because we do not hold your name, address, or email on any server, most of these rights are exercised directly on your device (edit or delete the app's local data). Contact us at support@claimysettlements.app with any questions or requests.
7. Data Retention
Your name, address, and email remain on your device for as long as you keep the app installed and the data entered. Deleting the app, or clearing the app's data in iOS Settings, permanently removes this information - we hold no copy anywhere else.
8. Security
- Data stored on your device is protected by iOS's built-in data protection and sandboxing
- We recommend enabling a device passcode and iOS backup encryption for additional protection
- Because we do not operate a server holding your personal information, there is no central database that could be breached
9. Children
Claim Settlements: Class Action is intended for U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. International Users
Claim Settlements: Class Action is intended for use by U.S. residents to find and prepare U.S. settlement claims. As a company established in the Netherlands, we apply GDPR-equivalent data protection standards to our own data handling regardless of where our users live, but the app's claim-matching functionality is designed around U.S. settlements only.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice or by email before they take effect.
